Minister Dlamini Zuma arrives in Brussels, Belgium The
Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has arrived
in Brussels to lead the South African delegation to the SA - EU Joint Co-operation
Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd November 2004. The schedule
for Tuesday, 23rd November 2004 for Minister Dlamini Zuma will include: - Morning
session: Media interviews by Minister Dlamini Zuma by the leading print journals
in Belgium, Le Soir ( French journal) and De Standaard.

Aid - Commissioner Luis Michel
- Minister Dlamini Zuma's delegation to
the SA - EU Joint Co-operation Council Meeting will include Ministers Thoko Didiza
(Agriculture) and Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa (Trade& Industry).
- This
Forum is aimed at consolidating outcomes of President Thabo Mbeki's official visit
to the EU, which took place from the 15 - 18th November 2004.
On
arrival in Brussels, Minister Dlamini Zuma was received by South Africa's Ambassador
to Belgium, Luxembourg and the EU, Ambassador Jerry Matjila. On the margins of
this meeting, Minister Dlamini Zuma also met her French counterpart Mr Michel
Barnier to discuss issues of common interest and later attended a working dinner
of the senior officials comprising of the Departments Foreign Affairs, Trade and
Industry, National Treasury and the Department of Agriculture. Minister
Dlamini Zuma will also participate in a jointly convened press briefing with the
European Union. The SA - EU Joint Co-operation Council will review South Africa
- EU Co-operation wthin the framework of the recently finalised Trade, Development
