AFFAIRS:
(1) Whether she or her department is in a position
to confirm whether a certain person (name and details
furnished) has applied for and been granted asylum in
Britain as a political refugee; if so, (a) on what grounds
was asylum granted and (b) what are further relevant
details? N649E
REPLY:
The Department has no knowledge of whether the person
in question has applied for and/or was granted asylum
in Britain as a political refugee and therefore cannot
give such a confirmation or provide answers to related
questions.
