are office-bearers of any one or more of the four structures
listed above, (iv) what is the nature of the work that
the company was contracted to perform and (v) what is
the value of the contract? N1293E
REPLY:
National Treasury Regulations and procedures for tendering
and entering into contracts by national departments
do not make provision for owners, directors and/or shareholders
of tendering companies to be identified as office-bearers
of any of the structures or wings of political organisations.
The Department is therefore not in a position to know
whether any contracts were awarded to any companies
whose owners, directors and/or shareholders are office-bearers
of any political organisations.
