Whether the Government is paying any salary or income to the former President of Haiti; if so (a) what is the (i) monthly and (ii) annual amount that is paid to him (b) from what part of her Department’s budget these funds are paid and (c) what is the total amount that has been paid to him in income or salary since his arrival

The South African Government, in agreement with the African Union (AU) and the Caribbean Community and Common Market (CARICOM), continuous to provide accommodation and services to former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide equivalent to those provided to a South African Cabinet Minister until conditions in Haiti permit the return of the former President and his family.
