Throughout the conflict in Libya, South Africa adopted a firm and principled stance on the resolution of the crisis in Libya. We were guided by African Union’s Roadmap. South Africa actively took part in the African Union (AU) ad-hoc High Level Committee on Libya which was established to find a lasting resolution to the Libyan conflict. Within the ambit of the AU Road map, we proactively sought to realise the peaceful resolution of the Libyan conflict.
