Status on the establishment of the SA Development Agency

Mr KS Mubu (DA) to ask the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation:

(a) When will the SA Development Agency be established and (b) what will the relevant costs be?

REPLY

(a) It is envisaged that the South Africa Development Partnership Agency (SADPA) will be established during the last quarter of 2011.

(b) The institutional arrangements for establishing SADPA have not been finalised and hence a budget has not been finalised.  As for project funding, this will be from the fiscus, and therefore to be determined by the budgetary processes of Government.
