        President Zuma to attend a Retreat in Brasilia, Brazil  
        President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 16 July 2014, join  BRICS leaders at a special retreat with the Heads of State and Government of  South American states, organised on the sidelines of the sixth BRICS Summit in  Brasilia, Brazil.  
        “The  retreat offers an opportunity for like-minded countries especially Africa and  South America to strengthen relations and forge a stronger partnership that is  based on the common determination to ensure sustainable economic growth, issues  of development and peace. It will be a helpful session as we look forward to  increasing regional solidarity and cooperation on issues of economic  cooperation, trade and investment as well as global peace between Africa and  South American nations. The possibilities of increased cooperation between  BRICS and South America are also immense. We are grateful to President Dilma Rousseff for  organising this retreat on the sidelines of the Sixth BRICS Summit.  
        The  President attended the final match of the 2014 FIFA Soccer World Cup on the 13th  of July and the sixth BRICS Summit today, on the 15th of July.
