President Jacob Zuma to undertake a working visit to Zimbabwe

His Excellency President Jacob Zuma will undertake a Working Visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe on 01 March.

South Africa and Zimbabwe share common historical and geographical bonds as demonstrated by the strong economic cooperation between the two countries.

The economies of the two countries are historically interlinked. For example, South African exports to Zimbabwe in 2013 amounted to approximately R23, 198 billion while imports approximated R3, 267 billion in the same year thus firmly placing Zimbabwe among South Africa’s top trading partners on the continent.

South Africa is one of the major investors in the Zimbabwean economy.
While in Zimbabwe, President Zuma will attend the wedding of President Mugabe’s daughter.
