Apart from the ongoing political dialogue which is currently being conducted under the Strategic Partnership and under leadership of the DFA, the following structured SA-EU dialogues currently exist, or are in the process of being established:

Existing forums:

1. Annual Consultations (Development Cooperation)
2. Trade Cooperation Council (TCC) – since 2000
3. Forum on Environment and Sustainable Development – since 2007
4. Joint Science and Technology Cooperation Committee (JSTCC) – since 1997
5. Space Cooperation – established on 4 November 2008 JCC
6. Migration Dialogue Forum – established on 4 November 2008 
7. Energy Dialogue Forum – established on 16 January 2009
8. Health Dialogue Forum – established on 4 November 2008.
9. Maritime Transport Forum – established on 16 January 2009
10. Peace and Security Dialogue Forum (PSCF) – established on 10 June 2009
11. Joint Parliamentary Committee – established in February 2007
12. ICT Dialogue Forum - established on 11 September 2009
