The South African High Commission staff members spent their sixty-seven minutes (67min) of selfless community service at the Harcourt Park in collaboration with the Salvation Army’s Upper Hutt Community Ministries for homeless people. 18 July 2016

The South African High Commissioner Zodwa Lallie and mission transferred staff met with the Proteas at their hotel before their 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup match against the UAE in Wellington, on 11 March 2015. The visit was meant to wish the team all the best for the game.  “Protea Fire”.

The South African High Commission staff members in Wellington (Ms Pat Sonjani, Counsellor Political; Mr Jeff Maake, 1st Secretary Politico, and Mr David Jordaan, Corporate Service Manager) met and welcomed the South African Rugby Team on 04 February 2015. The team will be participating during the Sentinel Homes Sevens in Wellington, at Westpac Stadium, from 06 – 07 February 2015

Wellington Mission's celebration of the Nelson Mandela International Day, on 18 July 2014.

The South African High Commissioner (Zodwa) Lallie and Mission staff members in Wellington in partnership with the Salvation Army spend their Sixty-Seven Minutes (67min) of Selfless Community Service at the Sanctuary House for teenage girls, as to mark the Mission’s celebration of the Nelson Mandela International Day, on 18 July 2014. The Sanctuary House is a transitional home which provides supervised emergency accommodation for troubled teenage girls, in Wellington, New Zealand.  After completion, at the Sanctuary House, the team also visited the Hope Centre for homeless people.
