🇿🇦 REGISTRATION OF SAFFERS IN DENMARK 🇿🇦
The South African Embassy in Copenhagen provides Consular Services to South African Citizens who work, live and travel in Denmark. We therefore encourage our fellow Saffers to consider registering their contact details/their presence in Denmark, as an integral part of your permanent residency, travel plans and or security.
This information will assist us during unfortunate circumstances involving victims of crime, accident/s, illness, death, natural/man-made disasters, civil unrest, or if your family and/or next-of-kin need to contact you in an emergency.
By notifying the Embassy when you're based in Denmark, you also assist the Department of International Relations and Cooperation to locate you during an emergency, verifying your status and liaising with your next-of-kin.
Registration is voluntary and you're welcome to:
- register as an individual;
- register as individual or group travelers;
- update your profile/s (Individual or Group);
- get updates regarding travel alerts and warnings, voting deadlines, etc. al.
- de-register your profile from the list.
The Embassy will ensure that any personal information received is safeguarded against unauthorized disclosure.
Therefore, the Embassy will not disclose the information you provide to any third parties (this includes family members), unless you have first given written authorization to do so.
In the event that family members make enquiries about your whereabouts, such requests will be forwarded to you. You may choose to inform the mission of your decision to respond or not.
