DIPLOMATIC FUN FAIR 2019 – 30 NOVEMBER 2019
“Working together to build a better South Africa, contribute to a better and safer Africa in a better World
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) will host the annual Diplomatic Fair on Saturday, 30 November 2019, at the Union Buildings Southern lawns in Pretoria. The Diplomatic Fair be held under the theme: “Working together to build a better South Africa, contribute to a better and safer Africa in a better World”.
Hosted annually since 2006, the event serves as a key platform to educate the general public about diplomacy and South Africa’s foreign policy objectives. It brings together embassies accredited to South Africa as well as various South African stakeholders to showcase and promote cultural diplomacy through creative expressions, such as arts, music and global cuisine.
Accordingly, all Diplomatic Missions accredited to South Africa will be invited to host stalls where their cultural cuisine, art and heritage can be displayed for visitors to enjoy and purchase. To add to the experience, a selection of local food vendors will also be invited to host stalls providing authentic South African taste. |
