President Mbeki Offers Condolences to
Algeria
President Thabo Mbeki, today, Thursday 6 March expressed
on behalf of the Government and the people of South
Africa, sadness and shock at the Air Algerie plane crash
that left over 100 passengers and crew members dead.
In a message of support to Algerian President, Abdelaziz
Bouteflika, President Thabo Mbeki stated "Accept
our sincere condolences on behalf of the Government
and people of South Africa and be assured our thoughts
and prayers are with the Algerian people, in particular
friends and family members of the victims"
