President Thabo Mbeki to Meet Haitian Foreign Minister in Pretoria

At the invitation of Foreign Minister Dr Nkosasana Dlamini Zuma, Haitian Foreign Minister His Excellency Joseph Philippe Antonio will visit South Africa from 12 - 14 October 2003. Apart from discussing bilateral relations between South Africa and Haiti, the two Foreign Ministers will discuss synergies between Haiti's centennial Independence celebrations and South Africa's 10 years of freedom celebrations in 2004.

Ministers Dlamini Zuma and Philippe Antonio will also discuss preparations for President Mbeki's visit to Haiti in January 2004.
