Ambassador Themba Kubheka's Wife and Son Die in a Car Accident

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma was saddened and shocked to learn of the deaths of Mrs Lindiwe Kubekha and Lindithemba Kubehka, the wife and baby boy respectively of South Africa's Ambassador to China, Themba Kubekha who passed away during a car accident at Pinetown offramp on N3 to Durban, on Saturday 10 May 2003.

Minister Dlamini Zuma extends her heartfelt condolences to Ambassador Themba Kubekha, members of the bereaved Family, friends and colleagues. The Minister also extends her gratitude to members of the ANC Kwa Zulu Natal Provincial Executive Committee, the Kwa Zulu Natal Emergency Services and Police for their assistance afforded the Ambassador immediately after the accident.
