Advisory: President Mbeki to Attend
the Launch of Racing Against Malaria Initiative
President Thabo Mbeki will tomorrow, Thursday April
3, participate in the historic launch of the "Racing
Against Malaria" Rally, Pretoria, Presidential
Guest House, 14H00.
The President will present a message of goodwill and
support to the South African team that will be joining
other health workers from across the SADC region setting
off on an innovative journey across malaria hot spots.
The rally is meant to spread the message of malaria
prevention and to deliver resources to affected local
communities; and thus contribute in pushing back the
frontiers of malaria, currently, one of the biggest
killer diseases in
Southern Africa.
Participating journalists are advised to arrive at
the Guesthouse at 13H15.
