President Mbeki Congratulates President of Serbia and Montenegro

President Thabo Mbeki, today - Thursday, 20th March 2003 - on behalf of the Government and people of South Africa, conveyed to Svetozar Marovic, President of Serbia and Montenegro, "warm greetings and sincere congratulations," following his election as the new President of Serbia and Montenegro.

"It is my fervent hope that the good relations that exist between our two countries could be further strengthened and consolidated for the benefit of both our people's under your able leadership," said President Mbeki.
