Dlamini Zuma to Host Her Swedish Counterpart Minster

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma
will host her Swedish counterpart, Minister Anna Lindh
for political consultations on Tuesday, 6th May 2003
in Pretoria.
Minister Anna Lindh, will arrive in South Africa on
an official visit on Monday, 5th May 2003 in Pretoria.
Minister Lindh will be accompanied by Jan O Karlsson,
Sweden's Minister for International Development Co-operation,
Asylum Policy and Migration.
While in South Africa, Minister Lindh is expected to
meet Deputy President Jacob Zuma and Health Minister,
Dr Mantombazana Tshabalala-Msimang. The Minister will
also visit the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
The discussions between Minister Dlamini Zuma and Minister
Anna Lindh include:
· preparations for the forthcoming South African-Swedish
Binational Commission chaired at Deputy Presidential
level to be held in Stockholm later this year;
· dialogue between the European Union and Africa;
· the Nordic/Africa relationship;
· the New Partnership for Africa's Development
(NEPAD);
· the African Union (AU); and
· peace processes in Africa.
