Minister Dlamini Zuma to Visit Zimbabwe
for SADC Ministerial Meeting on Wednesday 2 April 2003
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini
Zuma will on Wednesday 2 April depart South Africa for
Harare, Zimbabwe to attend the Ministerial Committee
meeting of the SADC Organ on Defence and Security scheduled
for Thursday 3 April 2003.
The Ministerial Committee meeting, which will be preceded
by a meeting of senior officials on Wednesday 2 April,
will discuss among others the:
1. Review of international developments and their impact
on the SADC region
2. Evaluation of relations between SADC and Co-operating
Partners with a particular reference to USAID and the
European Union.
Apart form South Africa; ministerial delegations from
Angola, Botswana, DRC, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique,
Namibia, Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and
Zimbabwe are expected to attend the meeting.
Minister Dlamini Zuma is currently attending the final
session of the Inter-Congolose Dialogue and the scheduled
signing ceremony at Sun City on Wednesday 2 April 2003.
