Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma concludes Visit to Senegal

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will today - Friday, 5 November 2004 depart for Algiers, Algeria on conclusion of working visit to Dakar, Senegal where she held bilateral political and economic discussions with her counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Cheikh Tidiane Gadio and paid a courtesy call on President Abdoulaye Wade.

In Algiers, Minister Dlamini Zuma will hold discussions with her Algerian counterpart, Foreign Minister Abdelaziz Belkhadem during which the status of bilateral relations between both countries will be reviewed.

Issues on the agenda will also include developments in the region, the consolidation of the African agenda and the forthcoming NEPAD Steering Committee and Heads of State and Government Implementation Committee meeting to be hosted by Algiers from 21-23 November 2004.

Minister Dlamini Zuma will depart from Algeria on Sunday, 7 November 2004 for Chad, on the final leg of her West and North African visit.
