Minister of Defence, Mosiuoa Lekota
to Co-Sign Agreements with the Minister of Defence,
Demobilisation and Veterans, JP Ondekane, of the Democratic
Republic of Congo (DRC), 17 June 2004
Minister of Defence, Mosiuoa Lekota will co-sign together
with his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of
Congo (DRC), Minister of Defence, Demobilisation and
Veterans, JP Ondekane the following agreements:
- Agreement on Defence Co-operation; and
- Memorandum of Understanding concerning the Provision
of Assistance by the Departments of Defence of the
Governments of South Africa and DRC regarding the
Integration Process of the Armed Forces within the
DRC.
