Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma to Visit the Gambia and Mali

South African Foreign Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, will represent South Africa at the ceremony marking the tenth anniversary of Mr Yahyah AJJ Jammeh's installation as the President of Gambia in Banjul from Wednesday, 21 - Thursday, 22 July 2004.

Minister Dlamini Zuma departs South Africa today, Wednesday, 21 July 2004.

The visit to Gambia is part of a two-nation visit which will also see her visit Mali on Friday, 23 July 2004.

In Mali, Minister Dlamini Zuma is expected to meet with various Minister as part of preparations for the forthcoming South Africa-Mali Joint Commission for Co-operation (JCC) scheduled for 10-12 August 2004 in Pretoria.

Whilst in Mali, Minister Dlamini Zuma will also pay a courtesy call on President Amadou Toumani Toure.
