Media Alert: President Thabo Mbeki to Meet with General Motors Corporation. CHANGE OF VENUE (Now Mahlamba Ndlopfu)

President Thabo Mbeki will today, Wednesday January 28, meet with a General
Motors Corporation Delegation at Mahlamba Ndlopfu, at 12H30.

The General Motors Corp Delegation will include the GM Group Vice-president,
Ms Maureen Kempston. The South African Minister of Trade and Industry, Alec
Erwin, will also be in attendance.

It is expected that the General Motors Corporation's return to South Africa
will be one of the key issues under discussion.
