Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma to Host Namibian Counterpart, Hidipo Hamutenya, Cape Town, South Africa, 12 February 2004

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will host her Namibian counterpart, Minister Hidipo Hamutenya for a one day meeting on Thursday, 12 February 2004 in Cape Town for discussions regarding the land and sea borders between South Africa and Namibia.

Minister Dlamini Zuma will lead the South African delegation consisting of Ministers Mosiuoa Lekota, Sydney Mufamadi and Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka; Deputy Ministers Dirk du Toit and Cheryl Gilwald; Ambassador Kingsley Mamabolo, Deputy Director-General at Foreign Affairs and Curtis Nkondo, South Africa's High Commissioner to Namibia.

Minister Hamutenya will be accompanied by Ministers Hifikepunye Pohamba, Minister of Lands, Resettlement and Rehabilitation; Dr Abraham Iyambo, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources; Deputy Minister Alpheus Naruseb of Justice; Wilbard Hellao and the Namibian High Commissioner to South Africa.

The meeting will among others discuss the Orange River Boundary issue whilst simultaneously looking into the establishment of a Maritime boundary between the two countries.
