South African Extends Condolences to the Russian Federation Following Two Air Disasters

The South African Government, today, Friday 27 August 2004 conveyed its sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Government and peoples of the Russian Federation following two tragic air disasters earlier in the week that left a number of passengers dead.

"On behalf of the government and peoples of South Africa, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the government and peoples of the Russian Federation following the two tragic air disasters earlier this week that left many passengers dead.

"The thoughts and prayers of the government and peoples of South Africa reach out to the government and peoples of the Russian Federation and in particular those families who lost their loved ones."
