Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma to Launch Joint Bilateral Commission for the Co-operation Between South Africa and Swaziland, Sunday, 19- Monday, 20 December 2004, Mbabane, Swaziland

Mbabane - South African Foreign Minister, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will pay an official visit to Mbabane, Swaziland from Sunday - Monday, 19 - 20 December 2004 during which she together with her counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Swaziland, Senator Mabili Dlamini will launch the Joint Bilateral Commission for Co-operation (JBCC) between both countries.

While in Swaziland, Minister Dlamini Zuma will also pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Swaziland, Absalom Temba Dlamini.

In addition, Minister Dlamini Zuma will have bilateral political and economic discussions with her counterpart, Minister Mabili Dlamini to discuss, among others:

· Bilateral relations between South Africa and Swaziland;
· The Constitution-making process in Swaziland;
· The Judicial situation in Swaziland; and
· The work of the African Union (AU), NEPAD and the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM).
