Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma to Participate in Swaziland Cleansing and Healing Ceremony, Manzini, Swaziland, 26 June 2004

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, will address the gathering at a Cleansing and Healing and Symbolic Reparations Ceremony in Manzini, Swaziland on Saturday, 26 June 2004.

Minister Dlamini Zuma will be participating in the Ceremony organised by the Freedom Park to recognise and acknowledge freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during the fight against apartheid in South Africa, to dispel the negative energy from these incidents and calm the souls of those killed.

Between 1979 and 1987 sixty-two South African freedom fighters were killed by South African Defence Force (SADF) members in various ways, most notable of which were, car bombings, shoot outs and assassinations.

Participants in the ceremony will include Muslim, Christian and Bahai representatives as well traditional healers.
