President Thabo Mbeki expresses Condolences
on the Death of the President of the United Arab Emirates
President Thabo Mbeki, today, Tuesday 02 November 2004
learnt with shock and sadness of the untimely death
of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh
Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Accordingly and on behalf of the Government and People
of South Africa, President Mbeki expressed South Africa's
deepest condolences to members of the bereaved family,
Government and People of United Arab Emirates during
this trying moment.
"Please be assured that our thoughts and prayers
reach out to the entire Government and Peoples of the
United Arab Emirates and in particular the family of
the late President Sheikh Zayed" concluded President
Mbeki.
