Department of Foreign Affairs Panel Discussion on 16 Days of
Activism of Non-Violence Against Women and Children, Tuesday, 29 November 2005 The
Department of Foreign Affairs, as part of government's 16 days of activism of
non-violence against women and children will host a panel discussion on Tuesday,
29 November 2005. Held under the banner, "Non Violence Against Women
And Children: An African An International Relations Issue?!" and moderated
by SABC Africa's Daniel Makokera, participants will include Deputy Minister Sue
van der Merwe, Ambassador January-Bardill, Paticie Rwimo (Ambassador of Burundi
to South Africa), James Kimonyo (Ambassador of Rwanda to South Africa), and Scholastica
Kimaryo (Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System also Resident Representative
