President Mbeki Receives Letters of Credence from Ambassadors (Designate), 06 December 2005

President Thabo Mbeki will tomorrow afternoon, December 06, at 14h00, receive Letters of Credence from two High Commissioners and an Ambassador-designate at the Presidential Guesthouse in Tshwane.

Members of the media are invited to participate.

The Ambassador and High Commissioners to be received are the following:

1. Ambassador Guillermo José Pomi Barriola of the Republic of Uruguay;
2. High Commissioner Mahomed Ismaël Dossa of the Republic of Mauritius; and
3. High Commissioner Mohideeen M P H'aja Rubin

The ceremony is not only meant to officially accredit ambassadors/high commissioners appointed to represent their respective countries in South Africa. It also provides an opportunity for countries to consolidate and strengthen bilateral relations.
