Memorial and Funeral Service for the Late Mother of Minister Dlamini Zuma

Pretoria-A memorial service in honour of Mrs. Rose Dlamini, the late mother of Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will be held at 12h00, Bryntirion Estate, near the Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria on Tuesday 17 May 2005.

Mrs. Rose Dlamini passed away on Friday 13 May 2005 in Pretoria where she lived with her daughter, Minister Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma. Minister Dlamini Zuma was in Ethiopia attending the African Union's Committee of 10 Foreign Ministers deliberating upon Africa's position regarding the reform of the United Nations system when she was informed of these unfortunate developments by the Director-General Dr. Ayanda Ntsaluba

FUNERAL SERVICE

Mrs. Rose Dlamini will be buried at Bulwer near Pietermaritzburg in Kwazulu-Natal on Sunday 22 May 2005. The service is scheduled to start at 09h00.

The Government reiterates its heartfelt condolences to Minister Dlamini Zuma and her siblings Mondli, Nomusa, Sibusiso, Hlobisile, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the broader Dlamini and Zuma families during this hour of need.
