Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma condemns attack against wife of South African Ambassador to Japan, Dr Ben Ngubane

Abuja - South African Foreign Minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma today, Monday - 31 January 2005 - condemned the cowardly attack on Sheila Ngubane, wife of South Africa's Ambassador to Japan, Dr Ben Ngubane who was stabbed in the head over the weekend in Durban.

In this regard, Minister Dlamini Zuma "expressed the hope that the law enforcement agencies will leave no stone unturned in tracking down the perpetrators of this dastardly act to face the full might of the law".

"The thoughts and prayers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and indeed the entire South African diplomatic corps at home and abroad reach out to Dr. Ngubane and the entire family during these trying moments. We accordingly join in wishing Mrs. Ngubane and her sister a speedy recovery," concluded Minister Dlamini Zuma.
