President Thabo Mbeki Addresses the National Council of Provinces

President Thabo Mbeki will address the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) in Nkowa-Nkowa, Tzaneen on Friday 4 November 2005.

The address will follow a series of public participation engagements by the National Ministers and Deputy Ministers in Limpopo. These visits resulted from a resolution formally passed by the NCOP to have a special sitting in Limpopo from 31 October to 4 November 2005. This forms part of the “Taking Parliament to the People” programme, launched in 2002 to provide an opportunity for ordinary people to take part in Parliament.

The Media are invited to the final plenary session where President Mbeki will be addressing the house.

Take R24 to Pretoria
Connect with N1 North and follow directions to Polokwane (Pietersburg)
In Polokwane travel further north to Tzaneen
Take the Lydenburg road
Take Nkowa-Nkowa turn off
As you enter Nkowa-Nkowa you will see Tivumbeni Centre (about 15 min from Tzaneen)
