Media Advisory on Progressive Governance Regional Conference
President
Thabo Mbeki will tomorrow morning, 10H00, Thursday July 28, open officially the
two-day Progressive Governance Regional Conference to be held at Sandton Convention
Centre, from July 28 to 29. The Regional Conference takes place ahead of
the Progressive Governance Head of State/Government Summit to be hosted by South
Africa in October 2005. In keeping with the progressive vision of member
governments, the July Regional Conference will take place under the theme: "Putting
the people first: Towards a common progressive agenda". Opening Session:
