Advisory: Cocktail for the Sudanese Peoples' Liberation Movement
(SPLM) Trainees, 8 April 2005 PRETORIA - The Deputy Minister of Foreign
Affairs Ms Sue van der Merwe will today, Friday 08 April 2005, host a farewell
cocktail dinner in honour of cadres of the Sudanese Peoples' Liberation Movement,
who have completed an orientation programme which had been co-sponsored by the
Department of Foreign Affairs and the University of South Africa. The SPLM
delegation, which was warmly welcomed by the South African Minister of Foreign
Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, a week ago, will be joined at the function
by the senior management of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the leadership
of the African National Congress, business representatives and members of the
