1) Presidential Women Working Group Meeting, Thursday August 11: Presidential Guesthouse

President Thabo Mbeki will attend the second Presidential Women Working Group Meeting at the Presidential Guesthouse in Tshwane, on 11 August 2005, 12H00-14H00. The first meeting was held on 20 August 2004.

At this gathering, women representing various sectors of our society will share with us their views about the direction we should take so as to make better progress to increase the pace of the emancipation of women, said President Thabo Mbeki in his address on National Women's Day.

3) Municipal Special Imbizo, Sunday August 14, 10H00: Sekhukhune District Municipality: Groblersdal

President Thabo Mbeki will pay a visit to the Greater Sekhukhune District Municipality as part of the Municipal Imbizo programme to interact with local leaders, ward committees and members of the community on the delivery of services and matters related therewith, on Sunday 14 August 2005.
