President Mbeki offers condolences to Governments of Egypt,
Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Syria. Cape Town - The South African government
has noted reports of a boat accident in the Red Sea today, Friday 3 February 2006.
The government has been advised by its diplomatic missions in Egypt and
Jeddah that, at this stage, no South Africans were on board. In this regard
President Mbeki has, on behalf of the government and peoples of South Africa,
extended his condolences to the governments and peoples of Egypt, Saudi Arabia,
Sudan and Syria and the families and loved ones of those who have died in the
