The President and the Deputy President Host a Meeting with an International Panel of Experts, 19 January 2006

The President and the Deputy President will be hosting a Meeting with an International Panel of Experts from Harvard, University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MTI) and University of London at the Union Buildings, from 14h00 to 16h00 today, 19 January 2005.

This panel has been working with the Ministry of Finance to look at how to address the various constraints to the economy, which included a workshop held jointly with various local economists focusing on Growth Diagnostics.

Members of the media are invited for a Photo -Opportunity, 14:00, at the start of the meeting.

A media briefing will follow at 16:00 at conclusion of meeting.
