The tournament, which has been running for six years, consists of nine teams representing Latin American and Caribbean countries and a South African team. The Latin American teams represented in the tournament will be the following: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
