1789. Mr LB Labuschagne (DA) to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(1) With reference to her reply to oral Question 23 (written Question 966 transferred for oral reply) on 3 November 2005, what were her diary obligations for the time period 15h00 to 17h00 on (a) 18 August 2004, (b) 8 September 2004, (c) 3 November 2004, (d) 9 March 2005 and (e) 8 June 2005;

(2) whether either of her Deputy Ministers attended question time in the National Assembly on these occasions; if not, what were the diary obligations of each of her Deputy Ministers at the relevant time on the above dates; if so, which Deputy Minister?

REPLY:

(1) I was involved in diary work. I have not yet taken a holiday this year.

(2) I am not aware that neither of them were in the house.
