Minister Dlamini Zuma to meet Angolan President Eduardo dos Santos

Luanda - South African Foreign Minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will today Wednesday 21 November 2007 hold political discussions with Angolan President Eduardo dos Santos in Luanda.

Minister Dlamini Zuma is in Luanda leading a Senior South African Government delegation including Minister of Minerals and Energy Buyelwa Sonjica and Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba to the second session of the South Africa-Angola Joint Commission of Corporation meeting.

Minister Dlamini Zuma together with her Angolan counterpart Minister Joao de Miranda will today as co-chairpersons of the Joint Commission of Corporation, officiate at the closing session of the meeting which will conclude its deliberations with the signing of three major agreements namely, the petroleum sector agreement, the tourism agreement and the declaration of intend on visa waiver for ordinary passport holders.

Minister Dlamini Zuma and her delegation will return to South Africa on Thursday 22 November.
