Address: Tiergarten
Strasse 18, 10785, Berlin, Tel: 30 220 730 Accommodation: Most
hotels in Germany require a credit card to secure a reservation and do not forward
accounts to the Mission for payment. In these cases the Mission will try to assist
visitors by recommending suitable hotels. Transport: Embassy vehicles
may usually not be used to transport visitors. Visitors normally use taxis and
Germany's excellent public transport system. According to the information received
from the Press Registration office, journalists will be collected from their Hotels
and transported to the venue. Visa requirements: Visa requirements
change and it is therefore advisable to contact the German Embassy in Pretoria
before each visit to confirm visa requirements. Currently, SA passport holders
require a visa to enter Germany (part of the Schengen zone). Germany does not
recognise temporary SA passports. General Information - It
is suggested that the www.g-8.de website be visited to fully inform yourself on
