The Economic Bilateral Meeting between President Thabo Mbeki and Mozambican President Armando Guebuza, scheduled for Pretoria on Friday 23 March 2007 has now been postponed.

This follows a request from President Guebuza to President Mbeki to postpone the meeting due to pressing domestic issues, following certain developments in Mozambique, today, Thursday 22 March 2007. President Mbeki acceded to the request.

Accordingly a new date for the meeting will be set through diplomatic channels between the two countries.
