International Women's Day celebrated annually on March 8 to celebrate the international sisterhood of women across the world. This is global day that reflects on achievements of women in public and private life, and serves to re-commit ourselves to work towards women reaching their full potential. We celebrate the achievements of all our women, their past, their present and their future, in doing so, make a personal commitment to ourselves for our own personal and professional development. As a Department, the DFA celebrate the achievements of all our women, wherever they are in South Africa or on postings abroad. We appreciate your contribution, and we re-commit ourselves to ensuring that the Department continues to support you in your professional and personal growth. We comment your strength, see your potential, and celebrate your achievements!
