What amount was spent by officials in her Department on hotel accommodation, restaurant expenses and travel costs in the 2006/07 financial year and during April 2007.

b) Catering (restaurant):

R16, 289,491.12

c) Travelling:

R103, 117,161.00

2. April 2007:

a) Accommodation:

R884, 167.04

b) Travelling:

R4, 149, 223.02

c) Catering

R23, 912.06

It needs to be added that all the above costs have been made against approved budgets.
