MR L GREYLING (ID) TO ASK THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS:
(1) Whether her Department has received any correspondence from the Palestine Solidarity Committee and/or any other organisations or citizens that raised their concerns about the Palestine-Israel conflict during the period 1 January 2006 up to the latest specified date for which information is available, if so, how many (a) letters and (b) e-mails have been received.
(2) Whether her Department has acknowledged receipt of any correspondence from these writers during that period; if not, why not; if so, what are the relevant details.
REPLY:
(1) Yes, two memoranda were received.
(2) The contents of one the memoranda were noted. The second memorandum was acknowledged and replied to by Deputy Minister Aziz Pahad on behalf of the Minister.
