Mr LB Labuschagne to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs

How many Ambassadors and other foreign Heads of Mission (a) have asked for an appointment to meet with her during the period 1 January to 30 December 2006, (b) have actually met with her and (c) are still awaiting confirmation of an appointment to meet with her?

REPLY

The Ministry works as a team consisting of the Minister and the two Deputy Ministers, and Ambassadors’ requests for appointments are dealt with by any one of the three. There are no outstanding requests for the period 1 January to 30 December 2006.
