African Union Africa Diaspora Summit Postponed

Pretoria – The African Union Africa Diaspora Summit that was scheduled to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from 7-11 October 2008 has been postponed following consultations between African Union Commission and the South African government.

As a result the meeting of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC), scheduled to take place on today, Friday 26 September 2008, has also been postponed.

In this regard new dates for the Summit will be communicated as soon as they are concluded.
