South African President Thabo Mbeki will host his French counterpart Nicholas Sarkozy on a State Visit to South Africa scheduled from Thursday 28 – Friday29 February 2008.

President Sarkozy will visit Cape Town (Thursday 28 February) and Johannesburg (Friday 29 February 2008) – a programme will be issued closer to the time.

Media are advised that accreditation will be required to cover the visit. 

Unaccredited media will not have access to the official engagements in the programme.
