Minister Dlamini Zuma to host a Government Imbizo, Tuesday 28 Oct 2008, Bulwer, Midlands, Kwazulu-Natal

Bulwer- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will on Tuesday 28 October 2008 from 10h00, host a government Imbizo at the Nkumba Primary School Grounds in Bulwer, Midlands, Kwazulu-Natal.

The Imbizo which is expected to be attended by Members of the Provincial Executive Council, MPL’s and local councillors including members of the Local Traditional Authority provides an excellent opportunity for the local community to engage government on a wide range of service-delivery oriented matters.

Minister Dlamini Zuma’s Imbizo in Bulwer is part of a week-long initiative by the government to report-back to communities across the country about efforts aimed improving the lives of ordinary South Africans for the better.

In this regard, the Chinese Ambassador to South Africa, Ambassador Zhong Jianhua is expected to hand-over to the Bulwer community a cheque of R120 000 ( one hundred and twenty thousand rand only) to assist in buying a water-pump for the community. The community has been without a water-pump for a number of years thus impacting negatively on the ability of the community to access sufficient water supplies in the area.

The Imbizo is open to all members of the community.
